How long have you been on DeviantArt?
Not insanely long, about a year, but I have been really impressed by the culture and diversity that this site brings to the table in the short time I have been here. I don't think that there is another community that is so universal and spread out as this is.
What does your username mean?
It's a reference to a book. In the book (The Thief) there are three important countries, one being the land called Attolia. The re is a queen of Attolia, who is called Attolia. Eventually, the main character becomes the king of Attolia. While he is never actually called Attolis, that would be the king of Attolia's name. Basically, calling myself Attolis is calling myself a king.
Describe yourself in three words.
Artistic, chill dingus.
Are you left or right handed?
Right.
What was your first deviation?
It was this horrible thing I did in Stash.muro that was literally "NO MORE" written in blue. It's a Doctor Who reference.
What is your favourite type of art to create?
I love to write, but the problem is that I judge my work WAY too much to feel safe posting my stuff on Devianart. I really should, but I dunno. I just can't.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Painting. I'm really bad at it, but to be able to have the skill of Monet is a dream that will probably be just that. A dream.
What was your first favourite?
This fascinating piece of digital art by KPEKEP called "Creative station". For some reason it inspired me and I wrote a short story about it, that I never posted.
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
It's hard to say. Perhaps digital art, since it is so broad a category, but I have too much of a variety.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
Conn1321. I love how he takes art and kind of makes it his own. Also, the stories he makes are really interesting.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
Koili. She's the most famous artist I keep up with, and she seems like she would be very funny to meet.
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
Conn1321. I remember the first time I saw his work I was really sad for a friend of mine who had recently passed then. His stories pulled me through.
What are your preferred tools to create art?
Auto-correct. When I'm writing stories, I type really fast and it saves me a lot of time & effort.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
Staring at a sunset, preferably on Lake Winnipesaukee.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
Seeing Conn1321's work for the first time & feeling happy at a dark point in my life.
